Nick McNally and The Quad Squad cycle LEJOG for Cancer research UK

Who are The Quad Squad?

Our founder Nick McNally makes up one quarter of “The Quad Squad”, a group of Scottish adventurers (Adam, Donald, Kayleigh and Nick) brought together by a shared love for taking on challenges.

They will pedal the world famous 916 mile cycle from Land's End to John o’ Groats through villages and towns, taking in the landscape whilst making friends and memories along the way. The journey begins in Cornwall on the South West Coast where they will travel up through the English countryside across the border and into Bonnie Scotland. They will navigate their way round lochs and over mountains and eventually arrive on the North Coast reaching their final destination, John o’ Groats.

The charity

Cancer is the most common cause of death in Scotland and two in five people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Cancer Research UK was formed 20 years ago, in 2002. However, their history goes back much further, to 1902, with the founding of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. Thanks to supporters like you, their pioneering work into how to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer has benefitted millions of lives over the past 120 years.

Follow them on their journey…

Training is well under way and you can follow every step of their journey including all the highs and of course all the lows. Please follow them on Instagram to track their progress:  Follow the journey

Ride with The Quad Squad…

As they travel through the country, they welcome friends and family to join them on various legs of the journey. Whether standing on the side of the road cheering them on or cycling alongside them, they appreciate all the support from each and every one of you.

Please help The Quad Squad today and together, we will beat cancer.
